Aligned to IFCA’s commitment to create software awareness to the region of Indo-China, we embarked on the successful mission in January and February 2007 to The Kingdom of Cambodia. Leaded by IFCA’s Channel Manager Mr. Pratheep Kumar Arumugam, IFCA’s Senior Manager Mr. Cheah Kah Beng and IFCA’s Cambodian Business Partner Mr. Eric Lim from Gateways Communications Company Limited; we conducted a series of seminars to all of the hoteliers in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.
In 2007, there are a total of more than 150 hotels in the Kingdom and continuously growing. With the growing demand of the tourist from around the world, hospitality industry continues to grow rapidly. Hoteliers who understand and know the importance of providing the best services to their customers tend to well-equip their hotels. This certainly includes a comprehensive Hotel Management Software Solution.
During peak seasons, any particular hotel may be expecting tour agencies luring the lobby with hundreds of tourist which will lead to many unexpected incidents. It may lead to a delay in the guest being checked-in or checked-out. To avoid this, IFCA Software™ the award winner in the best Asia Pacific Tourism Category for its state-of-the-art technology provides these hotels with the software solution to ease their transactions.
Check-ins, check-outs, front office management, bill payments, multi-folio, multi-currencies, point-of-sale, event management, menu engineering, self-service kiosks, central hotel management, customer loyalty program, centralized purchasing, multi-hotel facility management, multi-hotel financial accounting, group human capital management, web reservation and supplier advertising portal are some of the features and functions the solution provides.
The initiatives were also recognized by the Minister of Tourism, His Excellency Lay Prohas. His Excellency was also keen to work closely with Mr. Pratheep Kumar Arumugam on the journey to computerize and induce technology to the industry.
The outcome of the seminars has lead IFCA and its business partner Gateway Communications to have many enquiries which are then eventually be transformed to becoming IFCA Software™ users.
