IFCA MSC Berhad also known as IFCA is currently focusing aggressively to penetrate the Middle Eastern market. As the initial step to create awareness, IFCA has participated in The 2nd Communications and Information Technology Exhibition for Qatar which was held from 08th April to 11th April 2006 in the Qatar International Exhibition Centre.

The participation of this event was done together with Multimedia Development Corporation also known as MDeC. Being the 51st company out of the 1,400 companies who have the MSC (Multimedia Super Corridor) Status, we have surely benefited ever since we have achieved the status in 1998.

COMIT Qatar 2006 will showcase the latest technologies in hardware and software solutions, e-commerce, e-government, security and transport technology as well as digital appliances including cameras and cellular phones. Participants will have the chance to seize exciting business opportunities and enjoy access to the booming Qatari communications, IT and education markets and those of the neighbouring Gulf States.
The 4 days event was to create awareness to the Middle Eastern market mainly to Qatar and its neighbouring countries pertaining IFCA’s capabilities and the range of products we have. During the same visit, IFCA’s Channel Manager Mr. Pratheep Kumar Arumugam managed to sign 2 business partners who are keen to distribute and implement IFCA Software™.

Mr. Pratheep also managed to meet many Malaysian businessmen who established their business in the capital Doha. Learning and understanding the local culture and practises is a must for any companies who are keen to have an establishment in the region. Moving forward, IFCA will be working closely with business partners and business associates to leverage on their local presence to focus on penetrating the market.
